Federally incorporated as a franchise company, abc Country is privately owned and operated. Restaurants are located throughout the British Columbia Lower Mainland, Kootenays, Okanagan, Fraser Valley, and in Edmonton and Calgary in Alberta. The Head Office and Training Centre is located in Surrey, BC.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurants are designed in an attractive country theme, and appeal to a broad range of diners who enjoy the local tastes of country cooking, and the warmth of a genuine smile in unique surroundings.

abc Country Restaurants offer strong design, construction, remodelling, and conversion assistance when building and opening properties. We provide site and building plans, legal and zoning assistance, critical paths to opening and operations, follow-up systems, inspection, and ongoing training, purchasing, and marketing assistance as required.
costs and financial requirements
We are interested in any and all proposals, and we’re up for the toughest of challenges.
The initial cost of acquiring an abc Country Restaurant franchise and obtaining the exclusive rights to a pre-determined area or territory is $50,000.00. In addition to the above mentioned franchise fee there is also a monthly royalty fee of 4% and a 2% advertising fee (both based on monthly sales volume).
The development cost of a new location varies, and is approximately $750,000. The conversion cost of an existing restaurant ranges from $200,000 upwards, depending upon the equipment in place.
